7654321 Studio ("7S") interviewed on Friday, 29 May.

How did you become a designer?

7S : After graduating from junior high school, I didn't enter high school and wanted to learn art. So my sister helped me choose a five-year college of art and asked me "want to be a teacher?", And I answered "absolutely impossible". She said, "Then you can only choose art design classes." In fact, I didn't understand what art design was at first, and thought to myself, "Don't I want to learn art?" On the first day of entering the school, I saw the sisters in the etiquette department were super-right, and then I was relieved to read for five years! In the end, he succeeded in his studies and became a designer after graduation.

What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?

7S : Each project has its own particularities and cannot be generalized.

Which emotions do you feel when designing?

7S : Finding a pair of creative ideas, and using the right technique to achieve, when the work finally presents on the ground, you will get a full sense of happiness.

What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?

7S : Food and music Music covers hearing, and food covers smell and taste, all of which allow me to experience the same order as they are in the process of enjoying the beauty.

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

7S : Do a good design, then cook, and then make music.

What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?

7S : If you work hard, you will stand out.

You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?

7S : If you work hard, you will stand out.

What is your day to day look like?

7S : Wake up naturally at noon, go to the market to buy food, cook for yourself, and do hygiene The movie ended with a few drinks at a frequented Lounge Bar, then went to an underground electronic music scene to dance, and finally went home to sleep well.

How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?

7S : I don't think design needs trends. Just like fashion, fashion doesn't need to be popular.

How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?

7S : Reasonable

How do you decide if your design is ready?

7S : When all aspects of the design and myself are ready, all the details are logical and just right.

What is your biggest design work?

7S : Brand image of own studio

Who is your favourite designer?

7S : Sagmeister 「he is still alive」

Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?

7S : I live in China, but I still yearn for the customs of Paris, France and Kyoto, Japan, and they have the ultimate heritage of romance and freedom.

Would you tell us more about your work culture and business philosophy?

7S : Oriental culture and modern aesthetics are organically combined.

What are your philanthropic contributions to society as a designer, artist and architect?

7S : In our spare time outside of serving commercial projects, we work with architects and space designers to build public facilities.

What positive experiences you had when you attend the A’ Design Award?

7S : Cheer yourself up to let others know how good I am, and I can't think of the third benefit.
